Executive Director at Pasture Beef Sweden

Anna is the executive director of Pasture Beef Sweden, a NGO aiming to increase the acreage of well managed HNV grasslands in Sweden. She is also the project leader of a three-year HNV Grassland project called Naturbeteskött från Östergötland, working with lamb and beef producers and the meat market actors in the region of Östergötland. Together with husband Ian, Anna runs a small beef-and lamb farm and an ECO-tourism venture in Malexander, Sweden.

Anna has worked as a lecturer, a beef advisor for the leading abattoirs in Sweden, and as project manager for the World Wildlife Federation - Sweden on pasture beef projects. She has written several beef-production textbooks and is currently on the board of the Swedish Beef producers Association. Anna has a master’s degree in animal husbandry from the Swedish Agricultural University of Ultuna.
