Every six years, Kinship Conservation Fellows holds a “focus year.” During this time, we dedicate our efforts to strengthening the Fellows Community and developing new programs and resources to advance our mission.
We know that it takes strong leaders to solve the world’s toughest environmental challenges. Our approach is to invest in the practitioners, giving them the tools and strategies to bring about effective and lasting conservation impacts. In 2018, our efforts focused on new ways to enhance our training, grow our community of leaders, and share our knowledge and learning.
Collaborate. Scale. Lead.
Through the launch of Kinship Conservation Regional Workshops, hosting Kinship Fellows Summits, and developing new shared resources and tools, Focus 2018 was designed to facilitate collaboration of conservation practitioners to further scale projects and lead others to success.
